ok I found a link with valid working kickstart roms for amiga emulators

http://65.23.136.193/computing/roms/

from what my research has comeup with, UAE looks to me the most reliable emulator and these roms work with it.

alfy and anyone else who cares, there is a gutload of amiga games roms on the net, one of my personal favs is stunt car racer.
awesome

heh, bit late, but yeah - I got a A1200 that I towered ages ago with 060 card in it. Once I went to 060 though, most of the games stopped working. Absolutely LOVED FA-18 interceptor icon_smile.gif

Its now sitting at my parents place gathering dust.

Got WinUAE working here if you need any help, send us a PM.

I started with the good ole' Commodore 16 (go the CMOS programing before you can play the games!) then a C64 then a Amiga 500 and then a 2000 and a 600. YAY! Still have 2 500's and a 2000 that work and about 1500 games packed away (might be a bit mould damaged by now). Test Drive was a great game. But my all time fav was Wizards of Wor on the C64.

I also had a A600 for absolutely ages before I upgraded to the A1200.

Was a great little computer you could just stick in your backpack and take to a mates place to play games on.

Also learnt how to code in Rexx on the miggy icon_smile.gif

wrote a heap of progs from firewalls to batch converters.

WinUAE is the best emulator as far as Amiga emulation is concerned, I have used on my system to emulate the venable A500 I have got.

I also emulate Apple Macs & many other simple computers using MESS & MAME for arcade stuff.
