Good stuff.
My mates AU with the same mods just got a custom tune done today, made 299rwhp and 395ft/lb f/wheel torque, waiting on a custom better flowing intake set-up then all will be finished.
Hope yours goes just as well.

just picked her up from bpt. she made 298.9hp at 5100 . and it revs 300 more rpm to 6200.
and it made 408ftlb flywheel at 3800 to 4300
i ordered a new block the other day, man o war cast iron 8.200 deck, 4 bolt. 4.115 bore. im researching rotating kits at the moment and heads aswell. |

Nice work mate, thats some good numbers.
Peak power at 5100rpm seems a little strange though, maybe diff gears had a thing to do with that with their roller tacho, same goes for the torque, i think they can play a part in that too.
What do you mean by it revs 300 more rpm to 6200? As in the rev limiter has been bumped up from 5900 to 6200rpm?
Also what colour is your car Tony? Me mate picked up his AU from BPT today and said he seen a blue one there that made the same numbers, im guessing this is your car?

Yep that is his Jeff.
Good to see this combo is consistant!
Tony which block did you end up choosing? Is this the one your dad Steve was asking about which has SVO (Cleveland) mains? If so be careful, I've only been able to find companies such as Callies, Crower & Bryant out of the US who'll make a crank to suit, and they're nearly $4000!
I might have to get some money together if you are looking to sell off your existing engine. |

yaeh i dont know what they did but it revs to 6200, even know its not making power there. and yes i am gonna sell the whole combo or maybe as seperate parts all except the 90mm mass and the pod.
the world short blocks with the same block uses a eagle crank , im unsure if i can use the same, maybe have to order one direct from world.
can i use a standard clevo crank, 5.4 rods , chev type big bore pistons 1.063.

i ordered some afr 205,s the other day, still waiting on the block aswell.
thinking about putting a comp xr280r in it, the stats r 2500 to 6500, 110 lobe sep, 608/614 lift best with 3.7 to 3.9 and 10:1 or more comp.
considering its going to b around a 363ci it should b perfect.
im selling the old engine which includes ,
pacemakers
75mm tb
75mm spacer
kn panel filter
afr 165cc 60cc
comp xe270hr
and all the rest of the engine
maybe aeromotive factory mount FPR, might use it on new engine if possible.
engine has done 86000 kms
heads and cam have done 16000
comes stock with crane roller rockers
had it dynoed with a flash 2 , made 299rwhp
i thinking of selling it around the $4500 mark
ive also got the original maf and tb |

Before getting a camshaft Tony, confirm the manifold you plan on running. IMHO opinion you'd be better off organising a custom solid roller to make the most of your new heads and capacity.
363+ cubes with those heads and the right camshaft can make 600+hp. Let me know if you are interested. |

im still trying to figure out which manifold to use, the bbk, trickflow, edelbrock, im leaning more towards the bbk.
my eagle 4340 chromolly pendulum cut 3.500 inch crank is on its way.
should take the capacity out to 375ci.
i think it the biggest motor u can run on an au without getting a bonnet buldge.
i would like to know any information on the manifold i should use and if anyone has a similar set up
ive got man o war block
3.5 crank
afr 205,s |

Good to hear mate, i know the new owner is a very happy camper
What exactly is going with the motor? Are you keeping the front dress? ie Alternator, A/C, P/steering and bracketry?
