I have been driving my GFs lancer all day so its hard to say. I reckon its got more torque, but can definitely say the car didn't lose any power!
I was running no-name, press bent, tuned length headers
Here is a pic of the old ones when i purchased them off ebay 3 years ago

how easy was it to install the AU console?

Nice boxcar. Well done
Personal preference would be to leave the stock bonnet and boot on it, the skirts look sweet.
Keep us up to date when you do a dyno run.
