Hi Guys,
Just wondering if anyone knows whether an EB V8 steering rack can be used in an EB 6 cylinder Falcon.
The only difference I'm aware of is that the V8 rack has no pressure switch. Will not having this cause any issues if installed in place of a 6 cylinder rack?
Thanks,
Justin. |

Hey Justin, as for whether the steering rack will fit or not, i'm not 100% sure, but the pressure switch is there for the ECU to bump up the revs a bit when the switch detects a spike in pressure to stop the engine from labouring. It may not be an issue, but i'll let someone more knowlegable have a crack.
Consider this a technical bump haha |

Well in that case, I don't think I have that feature with my ECU anyway!
Thanks,
Justin. |
