Whats the best rotary polisher to get? My hands hurt after hours and hours of rubbing the car. Especially my thumbs.

Makita 9227 my friend. anything from 3.5 inch to 8.5 inch pads will fit on it, a huge number of backing plates and the edge 2000 no backing plate system also fit and the machine has the torque to go all day long.

This is why I bought it, I can go for up to 15 hours on a paint finish to detail it and a machine that dies on you and has to cool down for a few hours ain't good for business.

Please note: please contact me once you have one so I can run you through how to use them and the polishes properly

Keep on shining

To make it easy for people, here is what I recommend by the look you want

Ultra Wet look/excellent clarity - Prima Amigo, Mats Magic 4th dimension (still in development), Menzerna 106FF or Driven auto polish

Ultra glassy finish with good wet look - Glare Micro Finish and Professional Polish

Paint/Glass/Wheel protection - Driven auto polish, Glare Pro Polish or Permagard PD 5000

Hey everyone

My second only test by hand with my new product that is still in it's early stages of development. Its name is "REFLOW"
The paint softening product and the paint cleanser have been brought together to produce one almighty product.

This is going to be the worlds finest paint cleanser that will deep clean all the grime out of the clear coat pores, soften it to turn the paint into a showcar like paint, enhance the color richness to the max, increase depth, remove swirls and chemically clean the paint with no abrasives

Once available, it will be best used with a microfibre buffing pad for up to three minutes to allow all the impurities to be collected and the paint to be clarified.

Then you can leave it on or wipe it off if you wish (comes off easy) and you can top with any wax or sealant or fully polish the paint and then seal or wax. It is each persons choice

Where it fits into the enthusiasts detailing regime:
For use before each bi annual or annual paint polishing or use when necessary to remove fine swirl marks.

So give your car's paint a polishing, seal or wax it and then six or twelve months down the track, clay it and use the cleanser to restore and enhance the lustre of the paint and then reapply your wax or sealant.

You will achieve better results if you use reflow and then polish with whichever brand polishes you wish

Pics of MG F boot by hand - just wash, clay and reflow applied.

** UPDATE ***

Octane - the ultimate quick detailer, spray glaze, interior spray and glass polishing spray is now formulated and should be finished

Unlike all others on the worldwide market, this one fizzes and froths like a bottle of coke or other soft drink and has incredible slickness, gloss enhancement and protection for exterior surfaces

It will be available in a month or two in a one litre bottle and you simply dilute it with water every time the bottle is half full.

use this product as a glass cleaner/polish, machine glaze, quick detailer, spray wax and to clean and protect your cars dashboard, door trims and centre console (not for fabrics, suede or leather)

A friend in melbourne will be designing the label shortly

you can get up to 2 to 2.5 litres of spray per bottle
Apply it by machine with a finishing pad to enhance your car's lustre.

Pricing is yet to be determined

Thanks ben. I am really excited about REFLOW and Octane. the amount of colour richness I got from reflow was amazing

Since formulating that first bottle of REFLOW I have been using it by machine after claying to clean everything out of the paint and enhance the lustre
I then machine polish up to four times and finish by hand for an insane clear coat depth and wetness

What do people think of these two new logo designs
The contact details won't be in the final versions of the logos but will be on the back of my new business cards
The old logo will remain as well so I'll have three to use as I like variety

Which one do you guys like the most

Plus - final design of my soon to be released product
OCTANE
