I'll be changing my fuel pump over tommorow - that is, if i can get one from the wreckers. Is there anything I should be looking out for / doing special? Or is it just a straight swap over?
BTW - anyone have any idea how much a brand new fuel pump is? |

cost me $180 for Ea wagon one 6 months ago and I hear the reason they fail is running tank below quarter full which dries pump out so buying from a Wreckers seems risky to me caue ya don't know what was in the tank they came out of etc. but don't take that for gospel cause I'm not exactly a mechanical guru hehe |

Champion!
Thats exactly what people have told me on the phone. I'm also a bit worried about buying from the wreckers. I'm just curious, mine is just kinda making a groan at the moment when the fuel is low, so i'm wondering if I just fill it up? will it be cool? |
