Ok, ive just installed a trip computer in the xr all functions work. so my question is;
does the trip meter beep when you press a button? i bought this second hand and not sure if its working properly.
i ask this because the factory fit trip meter in my ed Fairmont ghia used to beep whenever you pressed a button.

| mine dosent beep unless its showing the low fuel warning ie. dist to empty 80, 60, 40, and 20km. |

| i have a eb and ed with trip computers, and they both beep with any push of any button. i believe the beep wire has to be connected |

| when we had a nl fairlane concord i think the trip computer buttons beped but i am unsure if there the same from fairlane and xr |
