I have a ef fairmont on dual fuel (IMPCO) what I want to ask a expert whitch one of this catch codes will suit a ef fairmont: 4DGA-B-C, 4TED, 4TEF, 4TEG, 4TGA-B-C-D-E. Thanks Chas. Back to top Krytox Technical Contributor Age:29 Posts: 2490 Joined: 20 Mar 2005 Location: Seaford State: VIC, Australia View User Gallery (2) Posted: Wed Aug 15, 2007 11:36 pm    Post subject: you could use almost any 6cyl EF auto Ecu, however one of the correct ones May be 4DCF or 4DCG etc. of tickford enhanced 4TBD (im sure this is an XR ecu) anyways, I doubt you'll benefit with a Tickford Gas ECU as the impco setup doesn't run a separate spark map. I am no ECU expert someone else could shed a light on this, I just note what I find in cars (all parts) and research the difference *not easy* ! I hope this helps. Would certainly be a fantastic addition to a signature.
