| hey. just wondering where the build plate is located in an EF. ive always though my brothers ef was a 1996 EF series 1. but the RAC renewal came the other day and its listed as a 1998 which im thinking is mabe an EL. its still registered with the correct plates and vin number but i dont want rac to ever be able to say 'were not fixing this as u have incorrectly registered the car' |

| also if it is indeed a 1998. could it be an EF II. how could i tell. theres no badges or anything as far as im aware |

1998 is definatly EL
EF2 EL crossover was in 96.
does it have orange or clear rear indicators, EF''s and EL monts are clear.
but yes, build plate is under bonnet passenger side, near window.
build plates will be along the lines of 199x EF or EL falcon sedan |
