Hi All
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for one of these, I just bought a MP3 head unit to replace the original mid-range unit and want to keep the original wiring intact (have one of those radio wiring plugs you get from Repco and supercheap) unfortunately the head unit I got hasn't got DIN plugs so I need to wire it up myself.
Hope someone can help out please?

I don't have the wiring specs for you but cut that radio wiring plug thing in half so that the end that plugs into your car has plenty of wire coming out of it.
Toss the DIN plug in the bin and then wire your head unit to the free wires.
Assuming it has normal conventional colours Yellow will be +12V, Red will be ignition, and Black will be Ground.
The speaker wires will be matched colour pairs, but one with a stripe. I.E. Front Left might be blue, and then a blue with a black stripe.
That should get you started. |

Thanks Interceptor/voxace-looks like I am on my way to listening to MP3's in my car.
I was looking at the adapter and the colours are pretty much the same anyway (except for the rear speakers and it looks like they are marked on the wires anyway - if you look real hard)
Thanks for the link-I knew it was there but couldn't find it. |
