The power/econ switch is not by passed at all ....it still works if the shift kit is on or off ... they do a totaly differnt job

the shift kit changes gears faster ... and the power /econ holds in gear longer

Good to see you've got it up and running squeak.

I still reckon you're a madman having it on 24/7. But driving in the wet will be fun icon_wink.gif

im about to put a shift kit in my EL too just wondering if id be wasting my money if i bought a shift kit from http://shiftkits.com.au/ShiftKitsFord.aspx

Just wondering if all they are goin to sell me is the little project box with 2 resistors in it and a switch or if its going to be a better "proper one" if such a thing exists. THanks
