i'm just about (hopefully!) to get one delivered from xr8 dismantler - 2nd hand, said its in good nick & working well, for $100 incl postage. i rung around a few places here - cheapest i can get brand new was $180 or so. not cheap...
try comm falc autos - they seemed to be pretty cheap, but didn't have any in stock when i called. |

$180 is not that bad! I paid 165 trade through a mate of mine who works for a ford dealership. |

Yeah, don't get it from ford spare parts.
Two of the light bulbs on my drivers window module blew. I tried to get some new bulbs for it from ford, but they don't sell the bulbs. I was quoted $250 for a complete new module. Stuff that.
I went and found the smallest bulbs I could find from repco, moded and installed them myself. Work a treat, but the bulbs were still triple the size of the original ones. At night when the lights are on, the buttons get a bit hot.
But its better than $250.
