Why do you want to remove them for? If you want to put them on aftermarket speakers they most likely won't fit as they are 6", most aftermarket speakers are 6.5"..... They are not 6" they are 6.5"... 6" is 15cm...... Then drill holes for speaker screws in wood, then cover it with the carpet again....... Don't you think it would be better to screw them in properly, like into the metal shelf???? Yeh i was going to put them under the carpet, and attach to metal, but they wouldnt fit in the factory hole, theres to much width in the speaker.
