EDTVE 12A650A is the unique module number for the Tickford SS Falcon acording the factory manual. there are a few other mentions in the book about the SS - some engine specs, speedo drive gear etc.

on the topic of the phase 4s, my old man had an XA GT in his younger days, and he swears on whatever you can hold him to that though it wanst a phase it had an engine full of phase 4 running gear ( such as crank for example). Since ford had already manufactured most parts, they decided to chuck them in some GTs- not enough to be a complete phase 4, but pretty bloody close! He still says it was the most powerfull car he had ever owned, even more grunt that his BA XR6 mk2 turbo. Much quicket than any PH 3 GTHO he ever went up against. He rckoned it would pull 160 mph very very easily- too easily. Even up a mile long hill with 5 passengers crammed in and a lot of rpm to go... the things you could get away with 30 years ago...

No joke it never had a supercharger icon_razz.gif, Aarons E series never came with a turbo........went on afterwards.

these GT's are known as RPO83 (Regular Production Option #83) and like your old man, had one in my younger foolish days. did not know what it really was at the time, so i dont have it now. Ford fitted the (already) produced go-fast bits onto standard GT's to get rid of the bits. the result is some very special XAGT's are around. i do not know if there was any logic or reason which cars got what bits but things like 4V Hi Comp heads, manual chokes, etc are some clues.

that green phase 4 in sydney must of been rebirthed then cause it was the green one which was dystroyed in a rally accident around 73.
which left the 3 factory racers.

EA-ED JX Group E Falcon SS SVP (10 only) the officaloption code and name for the ss coon.

there where a lot of strange car produced for the forstry deparment as well how about a panelvan running a 351 ho spec engine fmx gear box with a full floting detroit locker 9in factory fitted icon_eek.gif
the forstry speced up that way so nothing whold brake in the driveline.

or the light weight supercar body's for ef el days which a mate got hold of rang up to find some info on it and was told how do you get it that body is meant to be at d**k johnsons.

No, the green Phase 4 was never raced, it was one of the 3 Brambles red race cars that was the rally car, (Super Ford Magazine, 1988/89) the green one was sold as a street car

No, the green Phase 4 was never raced, it was one of the 3 Brambles red race cars that was the rally car, (Super Ford Magazine, 1988/89) the green one was sold as a street car


67RCE is on the money. the green one is orig and has not been raced. on the lightweight body shells, d**k Johnson got done by CAMS (Confederation of Aust Motorsport) in the EF/EL era for, among other things, thin glass. the theory was to remove the top heavy glass and put weight lower down in the car. so it does not suprise me to hear a thin shell has surfaced

im trying to find info on th djr ea/eb/eds wichever ones he made as i think i may have found a real one and the owner doesnt know it?

does anyone know anything about these or any other special model ea to eds other than ss
