| The tacho on my EL has the words "fuel door" with an arrow pointing to the left of it. Is that arrow actually pointing to some sort of warning light or at something important? Just curious if anyone else has figured that out. |

haha you'd be surprised! i'm sure there are many people who wouldn't know how to open their bonnet, let alone remember which side their fuel cap is on! |

| The whole which side is my fuel cap on isnt hard anyway. Every car on the market puts the fuel gauge on the side of the cluster that the fuel guage is on. The exceptions to the rule put an arrow on the guage to tell you the correct side. ie ba falcons etc. |

You have to be joking?
I honestly thought I had a bulb blown or something!!
If you dont know which side the fuel cap is on, you shouldnt be driving the damn car! |

I actually for a half second that there was supposed to be a light there or something... You know, like the arrow points to a light to remind you it's open?

Ahh that's kinda ringing a bell. I had it up on the hoist after its purchase earlier this year and one of the guys checking it out was pointing at the power steering gear and saying that there was a power steering booster valve which he'd only seen on the LTD's. Now I'm wondering what else might have been mixed in. I don't suppose someone here knows a little something more about the extra gear that went into these "hybrids"? |

The front headrest adjusters on late EL's are the same as the AU ones |
