| how good are the xr8 mk2 cats? are they free flowing? would they be better than standard el ghia v8 cats? |

| I am almost 100% sure, and backed up by the service manual, that the cats are the same in all V8s from EF1 to EL2. Behind the cats is certainly different. |

Unless your engine has some mods imo the cats are o/k..
Mind you if they have hit a speed hump etc that are prone to internal damage like any cat... |
