I have being using 48x speed disc for burning music no worries & the box of discs I bought yesterday they are 52x & i-tunes says there is a burning error.
Anyone know WTF is going on?

Try a lower speed.

lower speed disc (i.e) try * get 48x again or can I change settings in my PC?

go into iTunes.
Edit>Preferences>Advanced(tab)>Burning(tab)

Change the speed to 16x because thats probably th best speed for music.

Also check the disc because it may not be iTunes. Some disks can only write at 52x and that means your 48x burner cant burn to them. So try nero or WMP or Alcohol to burn something.

itunes is a music player

for cd/dvd burning, use cd/dvd burning software.

Much more efficient resource usage.
