Hey all i have an unvalidated copy of XP that i cant validate due to losing the CD Key (i have other valid copies on my other computers though if thats useful?)

And i basically want to put a new version of MSN on it and possibly the service packs but not overly fussed about that.

Anyone know a trick? Is there a way to use another genuine key off my other computer to use it or something?

Any help appreciated.

Without going into too much detail, just google "make xp genuine" and take your pick of the results....easy enough really icon_smile.gif

If you update service packs msn should be updated

h**p://windizupdate.com/

this website will download all updates for windows if you have an unregistered version. But you have to be running mozilla firefox to use this.

I kept thinking the plugin was missing with me, I had to start it via setup program every time as FF online plugin update wouldn't work.
