hey fellas
is there a kit or something i can buy that makes the interior light fade out like the EF futuras and every other model above mine?
i just want to be cool like them 
or do i have to swap my low series BCM to a mid or high series one?

what does BEM stand for and how big of a job is it to swap em?

BEM swap is easy. One screw, three connectors.
Check out the modifications documents.
Just remember it will take half an hour after you put it in before you can start your car again!
(I forgot, and tried to fit it just after dialling for pizza. Bad move!)
This is because the codes in a new BEM will not match the ECU codes, and Smartlock will immobilise the car.
Buy a wiper stalk from the wreckers with the variable wiper control and with a few extra wires you have another great mod - and a damn sight more useful than the interior light fadeout!
