|
|
My TV in the den has decided to blow up, so im in the market for a plasma or LCD. Now i know to get a LCD of similar size i have to pay significantly more than a plasma...so i think im going to stick with the plasma...
Anyways ive always had Panasonic everything in the house, so going down that same line again...
and kinda decided on this, i will be making a purchase this weekend, just not sure if this is the one...
http://panasonic.com.au/products/details.cfm?objectID=2779
its 42"(106cm) and have gotten the price down to $2600...what do ppl think is this a decent tv, or should i spend a bit more and get something better???
along with that im getting a surround system also by panasonic
http://panasonic.com.au/products/details.cfm?objectID=2795
i havent been able to get any discounts on this product however, so its $999...
all up $3599 for the entire system.
I have never had any issues with panasonics but am not adverse to looking at other brands like Hitachi/Sony.
thanks in advance

well I ended up buying the Panasonic Plamsa and the Kenwood surround system, everything is hooked up and running, but not set up properly yet. Annoying thing is, my foxtel box isnt surround ready, so I have to wait a couple of weeks for that.
My den is only small...so the sound is freaking awesome!

Yeah there is a fine line now separating the two since LCD's are now starting to emerge with 1080i (even though there isnt alot of stuff that is capable of taking full advantage of it) |

best brand would be Panasonic/Sony/Grundig
i think 3.6K is fairly reasonable |
