It will work with 1.6 rockers, but performs better with 1.7s.
You will need a tune to get it running properly. |

Hi all, im thinking of going for a E303 cam in my EB. If i was to use this cam with some gt40p's and 1.7 rockers with i need to anything to the pistons. Will this combo still have valve clearance??
Also will this need a retune to suit the new cam?? What is the most cost effective(cheap) way to get a tune done??
Cheers Alllen |

As long as you fit a better intake (explorer) along with a 65mm T/Body and the usual exhaust improvements you'll see a nice respectable result. Piston to valve should be fine provided to degree the cam in correctly. You will need to change the springs if you run 1.7 rockers, I'd replace them anyway. It will need a tune, take your pick for how you go with that... twEECer, flashtune or a piggyback ECU, or a full aftermarket ECU. |
