 LOL i know its near impossible but im after a cheapish but a decent video card for my newly upgraded PC.
Specs so far but will be upgrading further- P4 processor 2.8gig, 512k DDR memory, only 60gig of hard drive space.. getting another 60 soon.
And a 5.1channel surround sound audio card
My main use for this computer is games only, which is why im after the video card.

6800GS is good value for money, 6600GT is also quite nice, but not enough for really modern games like Call Of Duty2.
I just sold my 6600GT and would get a 6800GS if i was looking for bang for buck. |

6600GT for near $200 which will play any game you want really, except it will chug a bit in F.EA.R & COD2 and maybe a couple of others unless on low quality + low resolutions
6800GS will be 2x as fast, but costs closer to $350 |

Okay cool thanks for that, yeah i really need to get a decent set of speakers for the computer first. Then a better keyboard and mouse lol... I should have just got a new system  |

i got the 6600gt, can run cs:source on highest settings with 50fps average and doom 3 on highest settins (smooth). Suck's a fair bit with F.E.A.R though  |
