Just wondering for ute owners ... if they normally have loud fuel pumps at all.
I have an XG "S" ... and I am finding that the fuel pump is kinda loud ... I always hear a buzzing sound while running ... not sure if it is an aftermarket pump either ... when I get the time I'll get under the car and have a look and get the model of the pump used.
Anyone else with this issue???? |

I dunno, mine used to be loud... I have a wagon by the way, effectively the same thing. Anyway, mine was loud... then it died... got replaced.. now I can't hear it. So it might just be on the way out.

| Interesting ... a can smell fuel ... it might be dying ... I'll get it checked out ... but so far everything is running right .... I can hardly hear it now ... jsut replaced my exhaust from cat-back ... 2.5" replaced with new pipe and smaller muffler ... much deeper and louder ... lukey muffler installed. |
