I've read in a few posts about this, has anyone done it? Have step by step &or pics? or how much would a hi-flow cost?

$285 for a high flow redback cat 2 1/2 inch.

get a pry bar and smash the guts out of it lol icon_rolleyes.gif 10k fine if ya get busted though

And I found there was no improvement.

You only need to modify the cat converter if you put on a biger exhaust system, and what and how you modify it will depend on what exhaust system you've put on...

yes in FM 1 there was a nice thread "what not to do to a cat"

basically yer car sounded good went hard but i lost big time fuel econ
replaced cat with a commondore one and pulled a14.9! YEAA HAAA

oh i could pop flames out the exhauts with no cat too!

do u still loose fuel econ. if you hav a hi flow cat?.. my cat is blocked as s**t i can hear it hissing its so blocked.. was gonna bash out the middle and put a pipe straight thru the middle... but i dont wanna loose fuel econ with fuel at these prices!!

nar a hi flow cat and a hollwed out cat are different! get the hi flow i will next time for sure
