Pauli.
IT'S Performance do a twin TB setup. I saw a picture of it on the IT'S thread the other day.

Slycruza.
MSD make several different ignition systems. The most popular and cheapest is the "6AL" ignition. I use it in my dragster. The 6AL is a capacitive discharge ignition with a guaranteed spark duration of 20 degrees of crank rotation. It does this by firing the plugs twice at speeds below 3000rpm and once above 3000rpm. I use a Bosch HEC617 Coil with mine. These are similar to the standard Bosch coil used in EL Falcons. The 6AL can be operated off a crank trigger or either points Dizzies or Electronic Dizzies. On the dragster we use a Ford Duraspark electronic Dizzy.

There are a few brand of aftermarket multi-spark ignition systems. They include MSD, Mallory, Holley and Crane.

The engine fully burns the fuel so you gain power as a result.

This is especially true of a methanol powered motor like my dragster. the Stoichiometric ratio of methanol is around 6:1 compared to petrol at around 14:1. Sorry, I don't have the exact ratios at hand.

I've bean toying with the idea of fitting my old Pro Comp 6AL into my Falcon. It was not suitable for the dragster, as the adjustable rev limiter would change from the vibration. That's why we changed to the MSD which has rev limiter "pills" plugged into them.

The Hi-6 has an adjustable limiter though, doesn't it?

With the MSD you plug in a "pill" of the desired rpm. It comes with 3000. 6000, 7000 and 8000rpm pills. But you can by pill kits with a bunch of pills for just about any rpm you want. I've seen them in the VPW catalogue.

Yep, pretty much you unplug the old coil, wire in the Hi-6s, plug that into new crazy coil and off you go.
Easy.
I found it leaned out about 0.3-0.4 throughout most of the rev range, so there is proof that it burns better..
Ask anyone thtas been in my car how smooth it is at about 6000rpm, doesnt miss a beat due to the crazy amount of spark im getting.

Sure does, its a knob on the back of it you just turn to a desired rpm.
Works well, i got a 2 stg limiter on the EMS(soft/hard) and i got the HI6s to cut off inbetween them aswell
lol
