yeah i reckon. The EB bar is so plain and boring, it tucks in too far too quick, and doesn't hang as low as even the bottom of the doors, so it looks stupid, especially from side on.
I don't want to kit it, i want to keep the stock theme, but add some zest to the car. The lights do it well, and combined with the bumper mod, i think it'll be sweet.
Hopefully i may get some done to this next weekend, and then i'll start tracking down some ghia fogs. |

Q ford at springwood can get them,i got a brand new pair for my ef fairmont ghia last year, they were about $100 each from memory, they are actually a cornering light more than a fog light, i had them wired to a relay and a toggle switch, and when they were switched on they lit up the footpath!!!! |

Custom bumper bar, sounds good. Just remember that ppl do EL top to BA FPV bottom, so why not EB/D Top and EF bottom?
With the 'fog' lights, yes they are cornering lamps not fog lights. If you have a Fairlane they come on when your headlights are on and when you put on your indicators. They aren't designed for forward light, which suxs. |

Yeah thats what i'm doing, EB top, matched to the EF Mont bottom. My mate is a plastic welder, so i can get it joined, then just smooth and paint it myself.
That sucks about the lights, however, i don't reckon i'd really use them, probably just be there for class, so to speak.
Hopefully the bar will come up mint, i can't really picture it, but i like the monts bar.

That is hot as f**k!
Thanks for the chop man, nice work.
I havent the faintest idea on how to do that stuff, i even have a chop program, but can't use it.
I think i will do this, that makes it look phat, will look even better combined with the BA lights.
BTW, what you mean by the previous comment thing? I'm lost?

I think i'll keep it. I want the car modified in small ways, of which fellow ford enthusiasts will notice, yet anyone else will think its a taxi
Thats kind of what i'm going for, while still making it a nice, tastefully modded car. |

| Yeah i'm not so sure it'd suit the sedan so well. Also it's just be a standard lane front. |

Well i changed a couple of things this weekend, tidied up some crap.
This is what my boot use to look like, = s**t as.
The factory carpet was stuffed, and i'm still missing the far trims, but i retrimmed the sub box properly, and shampooed the EF carpet and fit it. Now it looks a bit better.
Next, as alot of boxcar owners will know, the front windscreen surround things look like a**.
So i fitted the EF ones. They are still in great condition, and make the car look heaps neater.
I should soon have another EF Fairmont rim, so they will be fitted soon enough.

| True that. The smallest effort can make impressive results. I can't wait to get time to respray it. Then it will look quite good. |

Excellent work there Andrew, it's true that the smallest mods can make a car. Plenty of inspiration to draw on here when I finally start to play with the wife's EB.
