| I personally dont like the twin lights and I dont want xr lights. Wnat I am playing with using pen paper and a tape messure is a cross between xr/twin lights and standard lights, but the major problem is that the standard lights arent very tall, so finding lights to modify and make fit and look good isn't that easy |

Wheels looks phat on the EL, but the grille IMO, need to do something about that... maybe some mesh or something & a badge of some sort...
Nice effort otherwise... done well |

| There is mesh in the grille and in the bar opening and there was a badge in on the grille mesh but it wash right. As for astina lights they arent what I am after. I have been leaning towards honda lights |

[quote="spac"]My latest tail lights
very apt photo as they are sitting on the best place for them. nothing personal, and good on you for trying some different ideas, but imo you need to up the quality and execution of each mod. most of them are tacky, but need'nt be with a bit more thought. keep tryin tho. |

| I do these mods with basic tools and knowledge. What I know I have taught my self by watch and talking to people. For what I have in the way of tools and money my mods arent to bad, but I do agree with you about execution |

Spac - there are some aspects of your car that are not to my taste (and t looks like others have the same opinion) but then there are other areas of your car that look top notch...
I think that you have done a great job of 'modding' your car with limited knowledge/tools and resources - as long as you are happy with the way it looks is ALL that matters. Keep up the modding and dont get stressed out by any of the negative comments on this forum |

| thanks for that. Today I started wiring up the 2 pioneer 2 channel amps in readiness for the pioneer splits I purchased. I will be putting the 6 inch 4ways currently in the front into custom pods on the boot lid and running them from the h/u, while the 6 inch 4 ways in the parcel shelf will be hooked up to a amp as will be the front splits. So hopefully next week I will have some decent volume and balance in the sound from the stereo |

G'day mate.
Havent been away, just busy with work etc... Also been on the Ford Forums site a little more as they are more focused on later model falcons like the BA, BF etc...
But its always good to come back here and read the ranting of the E series bunch (im still one of them - till i sell the EF anyway)
you keeping well?
Your car is looking great! i was reading the post about the bonet buldge etc.. Lokking very nice indeed!!!
Anyway - better keep this on the original topic.
Drop me a PM if you like.
Cheers,
Adz |

| Parts of the car are now at T-Bass getting built correctly. They are making a custom fibre glass panel for the boot lid to house the 6 inch speakers and 10 inch lcd screen and then redoing my front screen install and tiding up the tweeter mounts |

Ok my latest purchase for the car was 2 more lcd screens. I also got 2 more tv tuners and an incar vcr. I got the lot for $50 but was only interested in the screens. I have already started playing around with them to get them looking right in the head rest. I may also install the vcr just for the hell of it, but I will wait and see.
Also today I went to the shop doing my boot lid to see how the progess is going and it already has all the basic shape as structure done so it just needs to be all sanded and a finish decided on and for me to drop the car in to get it and the other stuff all finished
so here are the screens:
theses are the tv tuners wwhich i will most likely get rid of:
And this I never knew they made for cars, but now I have one I may install as I doubt anyone else will have one in there car:
