|
its a 97 el falcon with 4l and 4spd auto
ok heres wat i got
nizpro intake plenum
6boost manifold
600x300x76 bar plate intercooler
tial 44mm wastgate
turbosmart bov
irdium plugs
9mm spiral leads
3.5" dump
3.5" s/s cat
single 3' all the way with 1 stratthu muffler
ok heres the big shock, use guys will hate me for this i know. but i got a super t70 turbo of ebay.
got it ruinning and when for a drive, and it goes a heap better but i can only use no more than 1/2 throttle because the map sencer is going crazy. it will come on boost but when it gets to about 4000rpm it cutts out quit harshly. any one had this prob??
any way it blew out the head gasket on num 5 after about an hour of driving, so its going bak in the shed to get a au steel 1 put in.
i will also put in my 440cc fordmotorsport injectors, malpasi reg and walbro 600hp pump.

wont be if your goin to upgrade the fuel system.
IMO, the std ecu isnt goin to work efficently/well with any boost, its just not tuned/designed for it.
to save you time, money and to get more power eaisly, get a after market chip/ecu to do the job |

| Your EEC is going ot have a heart attack with the 440cc injectors, I doubt it will even start not to mention idle, you are going to need a chip at least. It is wise to look for an aftermarket computer with any amount of boost IMO but a chiptorque or unichip should be able to provide enough tuning for low to mild boost levels. |

there is no way the ECCV will run thoes injectors
i strongly reccomend getting a aftermarket ecu, or at the least, a chip to run this
bit of a waste spending all that money on a awsome setup and not having gear to run it
with turbo stuff, timing and fuel is important for spooling and you wanna make sure your running the rite amout of fuel! |

| Exactly, electrically it will run them but they will instantly flood the engine. The EEC can only compensate +/-10% in fuel change so you can normally go from the standard 19lb to aroudn 21lb without a major issue but it will not run the 42lb injectors. |

| the only way to use a reg on a turbo, is a high ratio reg. you wuill have to get it on a dyno to see how the AFR is |
