Actually I think Pete from Rank Rotary told Silencer that it was working in JETXR.
The VCT is controlled with a PWM module on each cam so the wolf V4 could move the cams. It doesnt have 2 cam input sensors though so it could not tell which position the cams are in. Maybe they took the rocker cover off and checked it by sight? |

Yeah its good. Ill likely go dizzy in the maverick after a bit of thought but 2 spares cant hurt.
Someone do my homework for me so I can work on the car. |

I would have put the standard ba loom in and tune via Cappa flash tuner.
Nizpro spent hundred of hours and tens of thousands before they worked out that the top of the line motec cant control the BA turbo engine at very high horse power levels like the edit, they have gone back to the edit for tuning |

Find me someone who can do this cheaper than the price of fitting an autronic sm4 and I will do it. |

The decision has been made to get the car up and running NA to start with.
I want to see how the megasquirt fares without the turbo on it first.
Im selling my plenum and going for a stocker. The stock exhaust manifold is back on and Ive lined up a stock exhaust system which Ill fit on wednesday.
If all goes well the car will be running in a few weeks. |

haha, Im shocking arent I.
I want the car running ASAP and Ive got insurance bills and speeding fines to pay. Getting it running NA isnt going to cost anything. Getting the cash to get all of the turbo gear on properly is going to take a month or so. I only get paid monthly. |

Running it NA isnt going to cost me anything, that is why Im doing it.
I copped a speeding fine and insurance bill last week and owed Mum some cash, I also bought another GT3540 as it was cheap so Ive got no cash til I get paid again. I get paid monthly.
The car can either sit in the garage and wait for parts which I cant get until I get paid again on the 15th or it can be driving and getting tuned NA in the meantime.
Im still going to turbo it once I know everything is working as it should.

Your as bad as me when it comes to project builds...
nothing goes to plan...
Eg. Should I fit the solid cam before or after i fit the turbo..?
That part looks cheap, i'll buy that one for a spare spare |

I got some more boring stuff done yesterday.
I fitted the stock manifold with an EF throttle body and the 60lb injectors. I finished off that wiring job and fitted a battery. Everything worked which was good. I wasnt sure if it was going to be successful or not.
Ive got to get a throttle cable, some fuel lines, mount the thermos and heater hoses, mount my fuel pump, fill up the fluids then I should be ready to fit the ECU. |
