Hi Guys,
I have a friend who wants to change his duel fuel EL 5ltr back to straight gas.
(I would tell him to join FordMods but he doesnt have a computer at the moment lol)
anyway
what would he need to do to change the car back to straight petrol?
Hes looking at taking out the engine and rebuilding it anyway so thats not going to worry him
We tried doing a search on here but couldnt find the information we were looking for and neither of us know a thing about the gas setups
If anyone could shed some light at our direction would be great 
PS: Before anyone asks, he wants the boot space so he doesnt want an LPG tank back there |

get a qualified fitter to remove the tank, even if it is empty they still have gas in them. the rest is just removing all the gear under the bonnet etc and getting new bits from the wreckers that they have modified for the gas install.
A qualified gas fitter will know the correct procedure for locking off gas supply at the tank. better to be safe than sorry. |

i'm in coburg bring it around and ill tell you what to do!
but they have lock offs in the tanks to shut gas supply so its just going to be gas in the lines most likely BUT ILL CHECK THAT FIRST IF YOU LIKE! |

Ill have to find time to bring it round dynowog coz my friend doesnt have a licence for another 2 months
anyway ill contact you and try bring it round one day
