Around 8.8..
Latter models need decompressing..Unless you get an engine from ute...
Tickford heads especially need some working..Either low comp piston's or machined combustion chambers or both...
Fit earlier E.B ll heads ???...

decompression plates (metal plates similar to a head gasket, but used to space the head away from the block) are good if you dont wnt to touch the bottom end

The standard comp ratio should be ok if you keep the boost under 1 bar and use a decent flowing large intercooler. And dont get to radical with the timing map

Latter model tickfords are up around 9.2 or higher...Imo too high...
Opening up quench or deck height is not a good idea as the extra area promotes detonation...Having said that on the long strock 6's O ringed heads and copper gasgets work o/k... .060 thick....
Anyway there is no down grading by using earlier heads [E.Bll] or low comp heads...

Yes imo comp is more important to get right than head flow..Being able to blow some air in there first before worrieing about flow...
The purests won't like using older induction, but Ford did incease comp as each model came along...Almost same as the XR6 model before...Example E.F is similar to XR6 E.B...

Yeah, the EB manifold is good for 250kw@w plus, bu5t so is the EF though the EB lets you use a shorter intercooler run. They will both work well so just use what you have. The EF has centre possitioned trot bodie which is good for even cyl filling as aposed to the EBs throt body at the end of the plenum. Id leave it all as you have it and spend more time choosing a well suited turbo/ex manifold/intercooler system... once you have all these things sorted and are looking for more power, then look at a custom inlet manifold... one is on my list but its way down the bottom...
