| Is an auto to manual (six speed ) conversion on a Ba a nightmare has anyone even attempted it yet. |

i wouldnt see it as being too much harder than an EF-AU.
u might struggle with the hydraulic clutch, and if its not a turbo or an XR8 AFAIK theres no computer for the T56 and an NA 6. u could probably get away with a 5 speed ecu map tho...
the mounting parts etc would be no different to swapping any other auto to manual - u'd need tailshaft, gearbox, mounts etc. pedal box (or clutch pedal, not 100% sure how the BA pedal setup works. i'll check it out tomorrow... |

| Mate why would you wanna do that, unless your peter brock I don`t think you would make up the difference in a manual your auto would still be quicker. But if thats what u want sell your current ride and buy a series 2 manual. The only way to go. |

Mainly where the hell are you going to get a 6-speed box from? Not too many of those at the wreckers yet!
Probabily about $6500 from Ford, then you have ECU, interior plastics , shifter, clutch etc. Cheaper to get a MkII with all the other little upgrades |

this is a big job and would not be worth the 10 grand it would cost you buy the time you bought new wiring looms pedal box ect.
just buy a manual to start with |
