the rest of the season is shaping to be a beauty as schumacher showed last night that ferrari's speed is once again in a league of its own. due to the lack of overtaking opportunities at imola he couldn't get past alonso but he was lapping 2 sec/lap quicker with a full tank chasing him down. one of the best races i have ever seen. too bad williams seem to be not making much progress at moment.
i don't understand why the finish line is not further down the straight though.
playing gp4 on the pc i can only manage a 1:27 as finish line is same as start line but if it was back by corner it would be closer to 1:21. |

schuey didnt have a full tank at the end of the race, he would have had the same as alonso, just because he was last in the pit dosnt mean he has more fuel as doubt there gonna fill his tank up for 12 laps!! well done to alonso thats 3 in a row!! unlucky for webber, trulli killed his chances. but im sure we will see webber up the top where he should be soon!!  |

i doubt even shuey can get back on top... too far behind.
his car does seem quick, but he is too far behind and alonso is going too good |

| this is a long season this year and with 15 races to come schuey is definately a chance. the fact that if he didn't stuff up sun qual he couldv'e put his car on the front two rows of the grid and the fact that he went longer meant that he did have more fuel on than those ahead of him. teams don't generally put more in than they have to as it slows them down. when alonso pitted he was in the high 1:22's and when schuey pitted he did a 1:21.8 and his in lap was even quicker. so all i was trying to say kermey was that with similar fuel loads schuey was quite a bit quicker. on a track with more overtaking opportunities he would've won by a fair margin. |

Imola is such a good track it's scary.
Even if F1 racing isnt as competitive as V8 supercars, it's just the spectacle of the cars that makes it worth watching. The sound, the cornering speed. It's mind blowing.
The popularity of the category speaks for itself. |

Schmacher can win, he is still in the race. Trullia nd Alonso are defintely the front runners in my opinoin, they seem untouchable this year.
p****d off Webber cant seem to being consistently finsihing well this year. Dunno what happend at Imola, previous race was taken out unfairly, He needs a solid top 8 place to get some points up for Williams and himself. Good potential in the car though. |
