|
|
Hey guys, I know it can be done as a few people on this forum have said they have 6.5" Speakers in the front door of their Falcons..
But, is it hard to fit them.. (ie, lots of grinding and cutting panels)
Or is it pretty much straight foward?
The speakers are Focal 165V Slims, so they are fine for mounting depth (58mm)
Anybody wanna give me a step by step guide to fitting them? |

| Depth isn't a problem, some 6.5" splits fit, some don't. Just try it? |

Likewise, my Alpine 6.5's fit straight in too, just need to drill a few holes. |

most speakers that are 6.5inch are measure from the outer part of the speakers. other that are 6inch are measured without the metal edge. thats the only difference. that only thing you might have to do is drill new holes to mount it.
also guys in some states i heard that drill holes in the metal frame of the car is unroad worthy. is this true in victoria. |
