Its an all Ford front row for the first race at Barbagallo for round three of the V8 supercar series. All up 5 Fords and 5 Holdens in the top ten which can only be a good thing for the sport. Its good to see Lowndes with some decent machinery and another Ford driver challenging Ambrose (besides Ingall of course). So go Lowndes and go Ambrose and may the Fords be with you.

A day full of many ups and downs. Ambrose was deffinantly ripped of because of these Holden bias officials. Ingall was on a major high and yer Frank he was certainly funny watching him hanging out of his car. An early 3am wake up call for us yesterday but I wouldn't have it any other way. I only wish they came twice a year! Biggest crowd yet this year at barbagello. Awesome merchandise - spent to much! icon_biggrin.gif

Yeah sorry i was Playing GT4 then flicked it over and i saw the guys talkin to the Holdunbg driver who had the No1 poster on his car i thought that was for race three... turns out it was for the whole race standings.. icon_rolleyes.gif

So yeah Ingall did get 1st and Ambrose 3rd in race three. Where as i thought it was that other tool that got first in race three!! icon_redface.gif

Ne way im still pleased about Fords effort in the whole race, but it would of been good if lowndes and ambrose had a bit better luck and got in the top three of each race icon_razz.gif

You are right about Barbagello though, its time they did some upgrading on that track with all the land around the back they could make it twice as big and I've noticed that every year they seem to have more and more corporate boxes and less space for general admission. I personally don't think that soon in the coming years everyone is going to fit! Time for a major upgrade!

very much so! its tiny and when u think about it, they had around 82000 people rock up multifly that by about $100 per person entry thats 8 million per year plus everything else! heaps of cash to do major upgrades, a few areas with shade would be bloody good too, i got roasted out there on sunday, i think id rather get totally smashed with 3 blocks of beer in the comfort of my own home icon_biggrin.gif

As long as they don't can it here in WA though, a couple of years back they basically said that would be the last year they would come till everyone kicked up a stink. Typical scummy WA icon_rolleyes.gif
