Could do that, you'd be supprised how long it takes to write these little tutorials and get the pics.
I would like to have a Car Audio Day at someone's place in melb were people can bring their car and talk about installation techniques and bring there gear and we can actually do a number of installations on cars in one day. Everyone could get a hand and see how things can be done.
Not sre how hard it would be to pull together.... |

find some local high/primary school....
hire out the car park for a day (mine has a pretty big car park, i could ask prices for you if you want)
and yeh you could do it like that,.,,, every one park cars there and go around .ect ?? |

Problem is we need acces to some other facilities.
- Workbench's
- Power and power tools
Toilets
Someone with a big backyard and good sized shed would be best. |

pyroay <-- you are a champ. I have been wondering about OHMS etc for ages... thanks for the nice tute! Appreciate it. You don't know anyone by chance who may be wanting to make a LCD housing to replace the "pop-up" lid that is in the centre of a Territory's dash? 
Trying to do it myself with fibreglass and it's looking a bit dodgy! hehe

Hey Aaron just curious, even if youve got an amp located in a area that is relativly spacious and allows for decent airflow etc.. Are their much gains in adding a small fan to cool down the amp.. I have that 2 channel Axis amp that i bought off of you, would thier be much point in adding a small fan to disperse more heat?
I was going to do it when i first bought it off of ya, but then once i installed it, it looked like it would of been fine ne way..

I prefer to do things throughly during the initial install then you dont have to re-visit it later and everything works to its maximum
I usually install fans near every amp in installs i complete
Even a small fan mounted nearby can offer a 100% cooling benefit. |

Okay cool so what type of fans do you usually go for i mean their are a s**t of different ones.. What about the computer CPU fans you can buy? Would a place like Jaycar sell these?

Yes computer fans are fine, Jaycar has a good selection.
Look at the noise they make as well as the airflow. It is important to have the quietest one's possible.
Also when you mount them you need to use sound deadener all around to stop the pannel they are bolted to from humming with the fan speed. |

mad...my pioneer is 100db and my eclipse is 105db signal to noise ratio.

Great thats the way, my phoenix amps is 113db so i'm fine. People often ask why spend extra money on amps, there is one of the answers..... No introduced noise, at any volume.

People say the same to me and why spend money on a radio, its just a radio, then i stick em in the in the car and crank it up and then they shut up.

I have my amp mounted under the dirvers seat, and i HAD a computer fan hooked up, but i had issues with not being able to find anywhere to actually mount it, anyone got any suggestions? |

| Mount the amp under the seat on a piece of 6mm MDF. Then bend a small piece of aluminmum bent at right angles. Should take approx 30min... |
