dunno what the deal is with the abs. it dont kick in till the car is doing over like 30 anyway, and once its spinning it wont lock up so it wont have to release it anyway, , and ive done one before, with foot on brake and all that happens is the abs malfunctions and the light turns on cos it holds the front and cant stop the back,. so the ligght turns on.. you finish smokin roll away and 50 down the road the light turns off and you abs is back on again.
if you dont beleive me try it on gravel bakin the backend flickin it round with the brake on slowing the front down.
just dont cut up in a carpark and forget to take the handbrake off from your parking bay, cos youll pretty much set fire to your rear pads!. ahha did that when i was 17. |

I do like some of you suggest, get the revs up to 3-4k and drop the clutch, then quickly jump on the brakes.
This works for me, even though I only have a single spinner that tends to lockup after a couple of burnouts. (as you can see from the video below, all done on the race track)
here is a vid of me lighting both tyres up at the strip, with a single spinner diff

This is the quickest way to distroy your LSD. Or what's left of it now!

Or would it be best to heel and toe? being ABS i didn't think this was wise after seeing my mate burn both his front disc in a EF XR8, should i take the abs fuse out or is it a matter of clutch control?
(It does burn outs, but the correct way to standstill in a manual LSD ford should reduce the damage factor) |
Yes do it this way. You may find the ABS light will com on during this because the rears are spinning too fast. |

Why in the world would you use this technique if you have 146rwkw... with that kind of power it will lose traction instantanously.
I just don't get some people. |

smoked tyres!
so i tried it N---> 4 ----> REVERSE to try remove the sledgehammer. hahah more smoke..
car still got me up the hill to the wreckers.! f**k what i woulda done if i snapped the uni joints on the driveshaft.! |

"The good news is, your head gasket is ok and the car goes hard. The bad news is I cleaned up a telegraph pole and wrote the car off..."
I used to get a bit s**t that my old mechanic used to leave my car out in the street with the keys in it after working on it or doing a rego inspection. I was going to drive it off one time and then walk in 10 mins later and say where's my car to teach him a lesson. heh |

| yeah the mechanic picked it up and was driving 2 minutes down the road, rolled it over and wrote it off, back end of the car was stuffed, but i managed to salvage his 3.7 LSD for my car, and hes selling his engine and tranny complete for around $1800 |
