|
|
Hey guys,
I've just taken over the lease of a 2001 AU2 and just wanted to get some feedback when it comes to my choice of mods for the next couple of months:
1. Electronic Shift Kit
2. AU2 XR8 Snorkel
3. K&N Panel
4. 2.5" Cat Back Exhaust
5. Extractors (not sure yet after some recommendations)
What can be done to improve the handeling? Iwas thinking maybe a sway bar would be a good start?
Any input would be appreciated
Thanks

yeah i have got tickford suspesion put in mine and it made a hell of a difference. An exhaust system from the extractors back, including the cat, would greatly increase performance from standard. It cost me $900 for the complete exhaust system and $1750 for the suspesion upgrade.
just watch when you get the exhaust cause, when i had mine made up they made it about 2cm long from the cat back to the curve where it goes over your axle and it rubbed like hell on my spare wheel well. |

welcome another auii.
The shift kit is good and it works for me.
The tickford snorkle looks good but didn't really do anything.
The extractors and exhaust would be the first mod then maybe lowered springs and monroe gt gas shocks.
Just my thoughts. good luck modding your new AUII |
