Just a quick note this upcoming Saturday 4th of December is our First Sydney DYNO Day being held at Crescent Motorsports in Liverpool. There will be First, Second and Third Prizes for top RWKW pullers along with a BBQ too so dont miss out!
Each car/run is $40, booking is essential otherwise you just miss out but if your unable to book before Saturday just turn up and be lucky you can jump on! So far the list is over 15!

Hey Pierre, joe said he wants to try and get things kicked off at 8.30am so i will be getting there around that time. cee you there mate.

and Brad, everyone knows that LPG is better than Petrol (waits for arguement lol)
I reckon the Ghia's gonna bottom the list, Even with the Vortex98.

Old argument
Petrol v Gas
Gas has less specific energy than Petrol for volume, (you need more to get the same energy) But Gas has a higher Octane level.
There are whole threads devoted to Petrol v LPG. Almost as many as Ford v Holden. |

Yeh, tuning requirements differ greatly between Petrol and LPG. If you were to tune a 4L falcon up for straight LPG use, its power should be comparable to Petrol.
The other thing to take into account is that Petrol has more energy (bang) per Litre than LPG does. But to make up for this, you can raise the compression and advance timing.
Lots of pro's and cons. The (s**t) LPG mixer on my EB has reduced the over-all throttle body size by about 25%. I'll show u @ the dyno day. |
