Hi All,

I'm pleased to announce that we have released Fordmods Lite! Its still under development, but it should be stable enough for some field testing icon_smile.gif

It can currently be accessed via the link at the top of the page 'Fordmods Lite', or by simply surfing to http://lite.fordmods.com

Its prime purpose is to serve as your Internet Explorers' homepage. It incorporates all the search functions you need (Google, Yahoo, eBay, Fordmods) and also allows you to store your favourite bookmarks.

As you will see it is a cut down version of our current Home/Portal page, and should load quicker, but still give you a good indication of whats happening @ fordmods.

Check it out, if you like it - set it as your homepage to make sure you don't miss a thing.

Please PM me if you have any suggestions, questions or problems.

Enjoy!

It is good, but I dont use google as my search engine, so I might stick without it for now - well as my homepage anywho.

MSN is working on a new search engine (Kinda like Yahoo local, mixed with a search query builder)....

Anyways, the search results from the BETA site are different to MSN's current search, so I guess you might want to whack that up there as well

http://beta.search.msn.com

Also, here is a bit of code for 2 other search engines

www.sensis.com.au
www.microsoft.com (For the Technet / MSDN Junkies and such)

---------------------------------------------
if (document.search_block.search_engine.value == 'sensis')
{
window.location.href('http://www.sensis.com.au/search.do?location=&searchIndex=global&x=40&y=9&find=' + document.search_block.search_keywords.value);
return false;
}
if (document.search_block.search_engine.value == 'microsoft')
{
window.location.href('http://search.microsoft.com/search/results.aspx?st=b&na=88&View=en-us&qu=' + document.search_block.search_keywords.value);
return false;
}
