| There is a slot/port on your motherboard, it'll be thin and long. the RAM will only fit one way, so dont worry about that. just lift up the clips on either end of the DIMM (thats what the RAM slot is called) and push the RAM in until it clicks in and the clips lock down. |

| if u have an old mobo careful not to crack it with pressure needed to put in new ram in dimm slots never used, but basically, buy it, unclip the white leavers, push it in till the white leavers lock the ram in place, fire her up n watch her run |

Oh also, if it doesn't start, it may be because the BIOS has the settings too fast to accomadate your new RAM, to rectify, you need to reset the BIOS. This can be done by either moving the CMOS reset jumper switch from '1-2' pins to '2-3' pins. When you open up the case, these 3 pins are usually located on the bottom right, near where the cables are that run to thr front of your case.
IF that seems too hard, or you cant find it, just take out the battery, start the computer, computer will chuck a hissy fit, turn off computer, put battery back in, start computer back up, reconfigure BIOS to suit your desires (for most people, simply re-arranging boot devices is all you'll notice, some older machines might require you to select CPU type & speed |

Just make sure you get the correct RAM for your motherboard.
SD
DDR etc
As the other guys say, yes it will clip straight in one way, make sure they both clip in on each side and dont pull out or bang any spagetti cables by accident. |
