What mp3 players do people here on fordmods own?
I own a JNC SSF-M5 1.5gb. I also own a Creative MUVO TX 256mb. I like them both and found that the only way I can transfer my music from CD to the JNC is to use the Creative software. I know it sounds weird but the software package that came with the JNC doesn't work. I resorted to upgrading the firmware but it didn't do anything..... Ahh well, A roundabout way of doing things but it gets the job done so I'm happy. |

Wanna Bet. For all Ipod owners or prospective buyers, pay for the extra warranty.
I had a 40G that shat itself 1 week after the 12month standard warranty was up. Then to get it fixed the apple shops won't accept it untill its been booked in and PAID for up front on line. The telephone help line doesn't, they only refer you to the web site.
In the end I had a fight with them, involed consumer affairs and got a new Ipod. I had to have an Ipod because I had just brought an Alpine head unit that syncs with Ipod, very cool.
I do love the Ipods but get the extended warranty they have had a lot of problems with battery life and the clickwheels. |

| I loathe the iPod. Its become a f**k fashion statement to have a iPod even when the iriver beats it for support easyness of use, you can actually change the battery yourself unless you dont know how to push buttons and it is actually better looking than the s**t white iPod or black one. |
