I'm running vapochill coolant in my V8. The stock EL 2 XR8 motor runs at -12 degrees.
I overclocked the V8 to 250kw by turning the engine screw. It now runs at a temp of 68 degrees on 16volts.
If I go any higher say to 255kw the engine surges and if I hit 260kw it stalls and conks out.
I've heard from a few people I can flash the MAF and oxygen sensor and I can take it to 270kw but the engine loom plug is the old type and not compatible.

ways to convert an e series i6 to a v8:

- turn the engine adjustment screw from 'i6' to 'v8'.

- change the 'i6' relay for a 'v8' relay.

- take off the j4 jumper and short the j1 and j12 jumpers.

- fill up with V8 fuel and not standard 6 cylinder fuel.
