ok you admins, time to come out of the closet... tell us what systems u look after, (ie win2000, 2003, unix, hp-ux, linux, mssql, oracle, sqlbase, exchange, lotus, blah, frickin, blah blah)
and how quickly can you type the word administrator without typos? coz after a short while, u get pretty good at it!

I can type administrator in 1.3200156 seconds. Half the places I have worked they use that as the admin password (which is why I get a lot of practise).
I wouldnt have a clue what to do as a systems administrator though. Im a play around with things til you work out what to do guy. |

I think Defence beats you. Heck in some places Telstra rent network capacity off us.
(where I currently work).
I have god rights on ALL the network gear, andadmin rights on our areas small network (200+ servers around the country and world, plus about twenty workstations).
Over the years, I've also worked for Optus (carrier networking and voice/mobile), Teached MCSE and CCIE courses (and other ones too), and now am in Network Performance analysis with Compuware (currently working in Defence) |

Where did I say I was a graphic designer. I did however program the pages entirely myself.
@BigKev
You work with the compuware stuff yourself? If you do there's a training session on sometime next week (I think it's the 23rd, I heard there'll be some gov't people going), I'll be there with the regional NV guru. |
