The socket 775 thing has enough space for mounting holes and the holes have a minimum edge distance.
I guess it wouldnt fit a minicase but if it was a midicase then it would be fine. |

i have a bout 2 cm between the side of the heat sink and the psu.
i have 1 of those 15buck el cheapo cases with the e on the side. lol.
when my bro got it for me i thought that there was no f**k way that it would fit but it did.
prior to getting this heat sink i was able to run it at 3.2 as well but it would crash on hot days. that was on a p4p800s mainboard and a stock heatsink and fan. but ran 3.0 all day everyday.
a zalman fan and braket helped a lot on stock heatsink and fan as it cooled the chipset down alot and help cool the pro to. i think with that it could run 3.1something with out crashing or some s**t. but turned it back to be safe.
hope this helps. |
