Ouch, that sucks. Are CAPA going to fix the head unit under warranty?
Hope you dont have to undergo too much greif to get it back on boost again... |

After the bracket CAPA sold me is totally retarded. I have to sort some stuff out with them, cause it has caused my intake hose to rub badly, and a 50c sized piece has been sucked into the blower and munched the impeller.
Not happy, but s**t happens and i've now just got to work more to fix it in the future. |
Holy s**t. Was that the blower bracket?? The intake hose from the back of the blower rubbing on the inner guard or something?
That's harsh mate. Real harsh. |

Could have been?
If the big girl lost a bit of weight and I could get her off the line a bit better I might get to the 12's, my 60 foot time sucks.
There is another black GTP that goes down there nearly every week. |

Yeah it kinda sucks.
I doubt CAPa will do anything about as i didnt buy a full kit off them, just the brackets and pulleys.
I've got to send them pics of the intake hose being too close to the shock tower and rubbing when the motor torques up. |

aaaaahahhhhhh scanning sux!!! at least until i can figure it out to get the mofo working!! i scanned the slip on my computer.. the file size is 24.8mb... -this is huge isnt it?? all my other saved photoes all seem to be measured in killer bytes.. when i reply to the last post to transfer the image in the "browse" section..i find the pic but the computer takes an eternity just seemingly in a constant state of thinking after ive clicked on the submit button... i dont have broadband..only cable.. does a 56k modem n a 24.8 mb picture make for a realy slow or nigh on impossible picture transfer??? bit frustratded... any ideas of shrinking the image to make it easier to post up the pic??? any help appreciated.. |

Dude - do not... i repeat DO NOT attempt to upload or link a 25mb picture.
Find the file on your pc... and open it with Microsoft Photo Editor.
Go to image menu -> resize and play around with those numbers...
Then save it as a JPG file - it should be much much smaller... |
