Is it onboard? or an actual PCI card? If it's onboard whats your motherboard make and model

Windows should be seeing it but not having drivers for it...

See what it's the device manager....

The biggest question is as Benji said if its onboard, or PCI... either way, if you know the motherboard details (printed on it), go to the manufacturers website, and download the onboard audio drivers. If its PCI, just have a look, there should be printing of some description on it... Things like Vibra128, or anything really... especially, on the big black square chip (your sound processor/ADC).
