|
|
hey guys
im after some cheap 6" 2-ways for rear fill in my EBII Falcon for about $100
they will run off a Alpine CDA-9827 HU
my chioces atm are
-Alpine SPS-1729S
-Pioneer TS-G1610R (Dual Cone Configuration)
-Pioneer TS-G1640R (2-Way Configuration)
what is the difference between the two pioneers? or they say on the website that is different, from what i can see, is what i have mentioned in the brackets.
thanks
Daniel
p.s. are there any other top brands that match alpine and pioneer for the price and quality? |

your better brands are, alpine, Pioneer, kenwood, clarion, JL cadence all of which I am sure have a $100 6" range speaker, from personnal expeiernce I would only go Kenwood, Pioneer, Alpine for the price your asking, And i know my car currently has a set of kenwood 6" 3 ways in the rear i paid $100 for on sale which are sweat. Have no intention of changing them until I burn them out.
In all truthfulness avoid cheap brands, they sound bad, and never install a dual cone, it aint worth it.
2 ways give a little more bass whereas 3-ways are more of a mid-treble speaker. Personnally 3's in the back with 2's and tweeters in the front for that happy medium |

ugh.... dual cones...... cheap nasty things they are
i'm using a pair of TS-G1640R's for rear fill atm, and i'm happy enough with them |
