We have a Karcher one Vic and it kicks a**.
You can also buy the cleaning attachments, be it a bottle of degreaser to hook on, a bottle of car wash to hook on, its all good my friend!
Head down to Mitre 10 Megamart near Ford on Maroondah Hwy in Ringood - looks HUGE!! |

I got my karcher from good old bunnings, they had heaps to choose from, albeit it was when the water restrictions began so it was more a popular thing then!
Id reccomend them still as their prices were the best I could find. |

The one I use in Melton is good, it's still relatively new, and I know not to get in behind a 4WD!
I usually try for the Commonwhore SS'es ( ) that go in there with the tiniest speck of dust on the rear quater panel in the wheel arch... But they have to wash the WHOLE car, twice sometimes! UGH! Their money I suppose... But my water in the future, good thing there's the "grey" water pipe from Sunbury...

I agree with you there, If I must use a self serve car wash, and as I am interstate at the moment, thats all I can use. I take a sponge with me and use that instead of the dirt filled brush they supply. |

The best coin op wash bays I've seen is at Fifteenth street in mildura with six detailing bays. I don't touch the brushes either. Only use them as a high pressure rinse and spot free rinse on my car to keep it as best I can while interstate.
It has the best high pressure guns I have ever seen
99% of time I do it at home where I can do it safely using my 5,000 litre rainwater tank instead of mains water which is $$$$$ these days |
