I can see XR9UTE's 351W in XE thread information becoming a rewritten sticky (without replies, discussion etc), as it has many things to offer i.e. fitting a 351 to a X series, fitting a 5.0L serpentine belt setup to 351W, fitting a EDIS to 351W or maybe 302W? etc.

We also need to assembly in the some sticky references about what heads, intake, rockers etc to use or is available, instead of the same questions being asked all the time.

These in turn can become documents available from the Technical Documents web pages.

Anyone with information please include pictures, maybe even include neat and precise arrows etc pointing to relevant things in the pictures.

Perhaps damage, you could include the ins and outs of V8 conversions as this questions often pops up. Perhaps common questions like conversion tables for EFI windsor heads and manifolds, TBs, MAFS etc.

Will do, I starting to do some of this myself but I have been time strapped.

This is on my priority list, will start posting sometime this week.

OK Damage,

I'm writing up the 351w conversion article but It's a slow process between trying increase TwEECer support for EF-up and working and doing conversions after hours etc. Maybe you could stick my original post up for the time being because it seem we get a lot of questions that are already answered in that post.

Cheers,
Pete.

Your post has became another sticky icon_smile.gif

I have still been slack, I started back on constructing a V8 article (basics and bits that fit etc) over 12 months ago, I found it again and started on it again but I didn't get far, kids, work, being slack and other commitments has stopped me completing it.

This is a good reminder for me to get back onto it.

Ok, I have been pretty slack replying, will get some pics in the morning. There is very little involved in the jod too, and the only possible drama I can see is bonnet clearence, but like thats an issue anyway. I think the PH4000 pipes will work also with some slight mods. namely on the 5-8 side. Late model TFI 351 dizzy is needed, and a GT40 351W lower....and thats about it. Serp belt length will have to be worked out, but other than that, pretty easy.
Will get some pics for you all tomorrow. And maybe some of the GT now its come back from the Painters...lol

Maybe some reputable workshops, and brands for different things to get people on the right track.
